We've put together a handy guide to some of the independents which will be staying open later on Saturday night, to help you plan your visit.

Note that the last Park & Ride bus leaves at 5.30pm, but the gates won't be locked until 7pm for anyone wanting to walk back after the last bus. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from HG5 8AG to HG5 8LF.
HIGH STREET
Sheer Bliss Lingerie
Independent lingerie, swimwear and leisure wear boutique Sheer Bliss Lingerie - Knaresborough will be open late after the market on Saturday. Finalists in the 'Best Shop' category at the national Stars Awards 2023 (the Oscars of the lingerie industry!), they offer a full fitting service. They will be open 10am - 7pm on the Saturday and 11am - 3pm on the Sunday. You can find them on the High Street opposite the Bus Station.
The Crystal Buddha
The Crystal Buddha - an award winning independent retailer of ethically sourced products, crystals and rocks, will be open 11am - 7pm on Saturday 2 December and 11am - 3pm on Sunday 3 December. You can find them on the High Street opposite the Bus Station.
Twig & Ink
Independent women's clothing, gift and accessories shop Twig&Ink will be open 9.30am - 7pm on Saturday for festive shopping and drinks and 11am - 5pm on the Sunday. You can find them in the former Wild Orchid premises on the High Street, just down from Hirsts Bakery
Zigzag Cards & Gifts
Independent card and gift shop Zigzag Cards & Gifts will be open later after the market on Saturday. With a wide range of cards and gifts for all ages, you're sure to find some great festive shopping ideas. Zigzag Cards & Gifts are stockists of the popular Jellycat and Orange Tree toy ranges, as well Joma Jewellery, Pom Jewellery and scarves and cards and calendars by local photographers and artists. You can find them on the main High Street pedestrian crossing opposite Tesco Express.
WILD Thing' Clothing
Alternative ladies clothing store, WILD Thing' will be open 10am - 7pm on Saturday and 11am - 3pm on Sunday. Here you can find usual women's clothing and accessories which you wouldn’t find in any high street store. You can can find them on the High Street opposite the Music Bank.
Knaresborough Pop Up Shop
We Got U Covered will be open in the Knaresborough Pop Up on Saturday for late night shopping after the Christmas Market, complete with festive drinks and mince pies. You can find the pop up further down the High Street from the Post Office, just before Wetherspoons.

The Clothing Store of Knaresborough stock a wide range of mens and ladies clothing, including formal wear. They will be open 9.30am - 7pm on Saturday and 10am - 4pm on Sunday.

Dragonfly Cards & Gifts
Independent card and gift shop Dragonfly Cards & Gifts, Knaresborough, Knaresborough will be open 9am - 7pm on Saturday and 10am - 4pm on Sunday. You can find them in the Market Place, just opposite Boots.
Next Door (newly opened Wine Bar Cafe next to The Wine Shop)
New Wine Bar Cafe 'Next Door' will be open until 10pm on Saturday and Sunday. You can find them next to their sister shop 'The Wine Shop' in the Market Place.
The Olde Chemist Shoppe
Designated the Oldest Chemist Shop in England, today the Old Chemist Shoppe sells a range of Yorkshire produce and gifts, including festive chocolates, biscuits, Elizabeth Botham biscuits and cakes, jams, preserves and soaps. It is also home to the popular Lavender Tea Rooms Cafe upstairs, with great views of the Market Place below. The Olde Chemist Shoppe will be open late on Saturday and Sunday.
KIRKGATE
HA Garment Printing
HA Garment Printing will be open for personalised festive items and gifts from 9am - 7pm on Saturday and 10am - 4pm on Sunday. You can find them on Kirkgate, just down from the Banking Hub on the way to the railway station and Christmas Tree Festival at St John's.
CASTLEGATE
Knitting Pretty
Knaresborough's friendly wool shop Knitting Pretty will be will be open 9.30am -7pm on Saturday 2nd and 10am - 4pm on Sunday 3rd December. You can find them on Castlegate, just next to the entrance to Green Dragon Yard.
Claire Baxter Gallery
Following on from her successful gallery in Pateley Bridge, multi award winning artist Clare Baxter has opened a second gallery in Knaresborough, selling a range of prints, cards, gifts and calendars. Claire will be staying open from 10am - 7pm on Saturday. You can find her on Castlegate, opposite Knitting Pretty and the entrance to Green Dragon Yard.

New deli Victorious Pantry sell a delicious range of fresh pastries, pies and sweet treats, as well as lots of homemade jams & chutneys - and they'll also be serving fresh, warm sandwiches on homemade focaccia 10am - 7pm on Saturday.

Boggle Hole support and work with over 100 makers, crafters, artists and artisans, who are exclusively based in wonderful Yorkshire. At Little Boggle Hole in Green Dragon Yard you will find a fabulous selection of quality handmade gifts and more.
Scarlett's Vintage Tea Rooms
At Scarlett's vintage tearooms you can expect a warm friendly welcome, great homemade food and cakes and a cosy atmosphere. Be prepared to step back in time with vintage memorabilia and old time china. Serving up a range of vegan and vegetarian food options, Scarlett's will be open from 10am until late on Saturday and Sunday.
